Prince of the Universe

What was going to be my entry for #OtakuSenshiIdols's top 10. I guess it's my entry to the side contest, now.

After the fall of the Golden Kingdom, Antares awoke in a world that had no recollection of him or the dynasty he served. When it came time to fight, Antares took up his former mantle of knight. He donned armor to protect against mortal weapons, favoring the Greek style. He wears a schenti, an ancient Egyptian skirted garment. A helmet helps to obscure his identity. He would wears this version of his Knightly attire up until the 17th century, rarely changing it. There are historical depictions of Antares wearing a kilt, or hakama or other garments in lieu of the schenti.
Antares no longer wears the armor in the present, having become a bit cocky about it. His superior sword skills more than make-up for the lack of protection and he relies on these skills more heavily in recent lives. He masters a sword move in this first life, that when executed properly will behead his opponent completely. He rarely uses it, however, seeing it as a cheap and underhanded move.
